What data we collect, why we need it and how we protect it.
Data controller
The data controller is SIA "Riga Golf Innovations" (reg. no. 50203578341, VAT LV50203578341), operating as Swings Golf, Tērbatas iela 74A, Riga, LV-1001.

What data we process
When you make a booking we store your name, email address, phone number (optional), party size and the reservation time. We need this data to fulfil your booking and to contact you about it.
The data is stored in a Neon Postgres database in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).
Booking and payment data is kept for 5 years after the game date - the statutory retention period for accounting source documents. After that the data is deleted or anonymised.
Payments
Payments are processed by MakeCommerce (Maksekeskus AS) - at the payment step you are redirected to the MakeCommerce environment. Our site never sees or stores your card number or any other card details.
Cookies
We use as few cookies as we can.
Always on: your cookie choice (remembered for 12 months), what you type in the gift card form until you close the tab, markers that stop one booking being counted twice in our statistics (no personal data), and sign-in cookies for our staff. Vercel, our host, also counts page views and page speed without cookies.
Only if you agree in the cookie notice:
- Statistics: Google Analytics shows us how the site is used. Cookies kept up to 2 years.
- Marketing: Meta pixel and Google Ads measure which ads bring bookings. Cookies kept up to 90 days.
Without consent, Google still receives cookieless signals (for example a page view or a purchase amount) for aggregated statistics, and the Meta pixel does not load. Google and Meta may process data outside the EU, including the US, under their own privacy policies.
You can change or withdraw your choice any time via "Cookie settings" in the site footer, and delete stored cookies in your browser settings.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. Write to bookings@swingsgolf.lv - we will reply within the statutory deadline.
If you believe your data has been mishandled, you can lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (www.dvi.gov.lv).
