No - a table is not required. The reservation is an optional way to guarantee a table for food or a celebration: on Fridays from 17:00 and on weekends it costs €5, at other times tables are free to use.
A game at €16 plus a cocktail at €8-10 lands at about €24-26 a head. With a beer (from €4) it is about €20. The full menu is on the Bar page.
